Pawan Kalyan’s movie Gabbar Singh was re-released yesterday on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. According to Sacnilk’s estimates, the movie’s bookings grossed 5 crores worldwide with 4 crores in India. It became the highest first-day gross for a re-released Telugu film.
Gabbar Singh, which originally released in 2012, was the then-second-highest-grossing Telugu film of all time. It earned around 90 crores in India and 102 crores worldwide.
The movie was produced by Bandla Ganesh, under the banner of Parameswara Art Productions. It stars Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan in the leading roles. It also stars Abhimanyu Singh, Ajay, Suhasini Maniratnam, Nagineedu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh, and Brahmanandam in key roles.
