Pastel Nail Polish Colors Are Hot This Spring

Last week, Kendall Jenner was spotted with fresh pastel nails — and we are here for it.

This season, nail trend spotters are moving away from bold and going for easter-egg worthy nail colors like soft pinks, light yellows, and muted purples. Here’s a few on my radar as I look to give my bare nails a seasonal refresh.

Tokyo Afterglow

Pear Nova recently introduced this sky blue creme color. It’s somewhere between a muted purple with a dash of blue. The vega brand also makes polish without formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, DBP, xylene, parabens, or animal ingredients. — Pear Nova, Toyko Afterglow, $13.50

The Summer Set

For those nail lovers who like to mix it up, this set delivers 7 different colors. From fresh lilac to serene blue, there’s a mix of pastel rainbow colors for every day of the week. The brand also suggests DIY manicurist add a top coat and primer to their cart. — Olive and June, The Summer Set, $64

Beyond The Pale Pink

One of the highest rated pastels on the OPI website, this barely there pink shade is a head turner. The website calls it a “scandalously nude, pale pink long-lasting nail polish”. If this nail color doesn’t strike your fancy, there are about 14 others in the Infinite Shine series to choose from. — OPI, Beyond The Pale Pink, $12.50

Go Ginza

The Pioneer Woman, a lifestyle blog by Ree Drummond, called this soft lilac shade one of the “best nail colors to try this spring”. We found it on Amazon for under $10 bucks. — Essie, Go Ginza, $8.59 and up
