Parineeti Chopra on Rafale fighter jets landing in her hometown Ambala



The internet is buzzing with the news of the Rafale fighter jets in India. Several videos and pictures have flooded the internet as they have touched the landbase in Ambala. Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi tweeted about the fighter jets with the hashtag #RafaelInIndia. Reading the post, Parineeti Chopra replied to the tweet as the actress’ hometown is Ambala and she got too emotional about it.

Mr Narendra Modi posted a picture of Rafael and welcomed them in India. Parineeti who hails from Ambala tweeted saying, ‘Such a historic moment for my hometown. Grew up hearing the Air Force jets crossing our house all my life! PROUD INDIAN AND AMBALIAN #Ambala #AmbalaAirBase.’ Parineeti Chopra has often spoken about being an Ambala girl and how she enjoyed growing up there. With such a historical moment happening in her hometown, the diva couldn’t contain her excitement and had to take to Twitter to share her memories and also be proud of her native place. The arrival of the Rafael jets in India has got the netizens excited and everyone’s sharing pictures and videos of it.

The film was set for a release pre-lockdown but due to the pandemic the release has been stalled.
