Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra seems to be impressed by the iPad wonder boy Mahesh Raghvan. Raghvan has made a career out of playing Indian music on the Apple iPad. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Mahindra praised Raghvan for his talent and also shared his viral video in which he seems to be playing the piece ‘Epilogue in Sindhubhairavi’ using certain apps on his iPad.
“I’m not sure if I’m ready for a world where an entire orchestra might consist of musicians each playing their chosen ‘instrument’ only on an iPad.But I have to admit I’m incredibly impressed by the talent of Mahesh Raghavan, who has a huge following. It’s clear he is able to extract superb music from his ‘device.’ Indians seem to have a knack for accessing, assimilating and adapting new technologies!” Anand Mahindra wrote in his post.
Dubai-based Carnatic (South Indian Classical) music fusion artist, Raghvan plays Carnatic music on his iPad on an app named GeoShred.
Raghvan thanked Mahindra on X. Such an honour! 🙏 thank you for sharing this @anandmahindra,” wrote Raghvan. To this, the popular business leader replied, “Well deserved. Not just your talent, but your diligent practice is evident…”
