Nawazuddin Siddiqui is surely under the media glare for all the wrong reasons. A couple of weeks back his wife, Aaliya, filed for a divorce. Now his niece (name not disclosed) filed a case against his youngest brother in Delhi. She claims that she was inappropriately touched by her uncle and Nawaz’s youngest brother, Minazuddin Siddiqui, when she was nine. The family continues to trouble her in-laws and her by charging them with false accusations.
An online portal got in touch with her and she revealed more details about her past. She alleged that Minazuddin Siddiqui used to be the spoilt one in the family and didn’t earn anything for a living. When she was 13 and realised that what was done to her was wrong, she informed Nawazuddin, whom she fondly calls Bade Papa. But Nawazuddin didn’t believe her and said her uncle wouldn’t do such a thing. He further asked her which movie she was watching to cook up such a story. The girl was shocked with the response she got from her uncle. She expected Nawazuddin to take action.
The girl further revealed that Minaz instead of getting cautious, became more aggressive with her saying that nobody believed her. When she got married at the age of 20, her family made sure to trouble her husband and her in-laws. They filed a kidnapping case on her husband and dragged her in-laws to shame. She alleged Nawazuddin used all his connections to frame her husband and put him behind bars, which didn’t happen.
She recalled that once in 2017, when she went to Delhi, Minaz yet again forced himself on her. When she resisted, he hit her with his belt. He even pulled her hair and beat her up. She asked her husband (they were not married then) to take her away from there. The couple later eloped and got married since she was already 18 and above. She claims she has proof of this in the form of pictures and chats to prove her story.
