Threads have started the broad rollout of its save posts feature to users. Read on to know how to save a post.

Like saving posts on Instagram or bookmarking them on Twitter? Well, Meta’s Threads lacked this functionality since launch. Now, the X rival has started rolling out the feature more broadly to its users.

This follows Threads’ own earlier testing which began this month, offering a “save posts” option to some users. This allowed them to revisit specific posts later.

Instagram chief Adam Mosseri announced the update: “We’re rolling out Save on Threads more broadly starting today, so you can bookmark your favorite posts for later,” he said.

How to Save Posts on Threads:

1. Open the Threads app and find the post you want to save.

2. Tap the three-dot menu on the post and then tap “Save.”

3. To access a post, you need to head to Settings to find the saved post.

This feature was highly requested on Threads, especially as it gains traction again. Similar functionalities have existed on other platforms for a while, so adding it to Threads makes sense. It allows you to easily revisit posts later and helps you stay on top of things.

In related news, Threads recently reached 130 million monthly active users, a 30 million increase from the previous quarter. During the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that Threads is “growing steadily.” This is a positive sign for the platform and presents an opportunity to compete with Elon Musk’s X in the long run.
