According to reports, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has earned an impressive sum for her role in the show, reportedly surpassing Rs 10 crore. This makes her the highest-paid OTT actress in India. While this amount is lower than what Priyanka Chopra received for the American series Citadel, it still stands as the highest fee ever earned by an Indian actress for an OTT project.
The web series features a stellar cast, including Kay Kay Menon, Kashvi Majmundar, Simran, Saqib Saleem, and others. In an interview, Samantha revealed that she initially declined the offer because of her health. The actress said, “I begged them to move on because I really didn’t think I could do it. I was really sure I couldn’t.”
Samantha also went on to share a list of other actresses she felt would be perfect for the role that had been offered to her. She recalled saying to them, “Look at this heroine, she is so amazing. She will kill it. I beg you, I can’t do this.”
Samantha was also in the news for her divorce from her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya.
