‘This is my baby girl’: Mariah Carey brings her daughter Monroe, 11, out on stage to perform a festive duet during her first post-Covid live concert in Toronto
She took to the stage with a Merry Christmas to All concert for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic on Friday.
And Mariah Carey, 52, made it a family affair as she brought her daughter Monroe, 11, out onto the stage during the Toronto Scotiabank Arena show.
She proved that the youngster certainly has her mother’s talents too, with the pair singing a duet to Away In A Manger.

The songstress was ever-glamorous in a shimmering, princess-like white gown and matching tiara.
While her daughter matched the look with a puffed-skirt gown of her own, which featured a glittery white bodice.
Admitting that this was her first duet with Monroe, Mariah told the crowd: ‘This is my baby girl, here. Eleven years ago, I got the greatest gift.
‘You know what, I don’t have birthdays, but the birthing day was the greatest gift ever. This is our first duet.’

The pair then sang a beautiful rendition of festive classic Away In A Manger, with Monroe proving she could be set for a musical career of her own.
A fan attending the concert posted the sweet moment to TikTok, with another resharing the video to Twitter as they penned: ‘mariah carey just brought her daughter monroe out on stage for a duet’.
Before they reshared their own Tweet and further penned: ‘thank you @mariahcarey for the most incredible show, I can’t wait to see both nights at MSG.

The concert was the first of four, with the star set to return to the same Toronto stage this evening, Sunday 11 December, before heading to New York City’s Madison Square Garden for two shows on December 13 and 16.
Mariah shares Monroe and her twin Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon, who she split with in 2014.
