Man Accused of Threatening Shah Rukh Khan Gets Arrested


The Mumbai police have nabbed the man who allegedly threatened Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The accused has been identified as Faizan Khan, a lawyer from Chhattisgarh. A team of police was in Chhattisgarh after a threatening call was made to the Bandra police station last week. The ransom demand of Rs 50 lakh was made from Faizan’s phone as per the police. However, he claimed that his phone was stolen.

Last week, on November 7, the Bandra police station received a call in which an anonymous person said that if SRK does not give him Rs 50 lakh then he will kill the actor. When the police asked for a name, he reportedly said, “Doesn’t matter. If you need a name, write it as Hindustani.”

Interestingly, the accused filed a complaint on November 2 that his mobile phone is stolen. He has now been brought to Mumbai for further investigation. This threatening phone call came amid a series of threats to Salman Khan allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is busy dubbing for Mufasa: The Lion King along with his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan. SRK is voicing Mufasa for the Hindi version of the American musical drama whereas Aryan and AbRam will voice Simba and young Mufasa respectively. Besides this, SRK will also be seen in the film King where he will share the screen with his daughter, Suhana Khan.
