Major reshuffle: Rajasthan government transfers over 100 IAS officers



NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan government has undertaken a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 108 officials across various departments. The department of personnel and training issued the latest transfer list, which also included additional responsibilities for 20 officials.
According to the Personnel Department’s list, collectors of 13 districts, including the capital Jaipur, have been replaced.
Among the 108 IAS officers listed, Shubhra Singh has been appointed as the chairperson of Rajasthan state road transport corporation; Shreya Guha as the additional chief secretary of the rural development department; Bhaskar A. Sawant as the principal secretary of the public health engineering and groundwater expansion department; and Ashwini Bhagat as the principal secretary of the minority affairs and Waqf board.
In other appointments, Rajesh Kumar Yadav has been designated as the principal secretary of the health governance department; Hemant Kumar Gera as the chairperson of the Revenue Board, Ajmer; Gayatri Rathore as the principal secretary of the medical and health family welfare department; and Vaibhav Galaria as the principal secretary of the urban development and housing department.
