Maharashtra, Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024 LIVE Updates: The Election Commission of India (ECI) is set to announce the schedule for Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections at 3.30 pm on Tuesday, October 15. The polls are likely to be scheduled in the second week of November 2024 in view of the several upcoming festivals, including Diwali, Chhath, and Dev Deepawali.
The Maharashtra Assembly’s term is set to conclude on November 26, while the Jharkhand Assembly’s term will end on January 5, 2025.
The elections in Maharashtra will be conducted for 288 seats, while Jharkhand will poll for its 81-member Assembly.
