Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus Ramayana has been the talk of the town for the longest time. Though neither the makers nor the cast featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in the lead have gone on to confirm any of the news making the rounds.
Now as per the latest report on a leading entertainment portal, Madhu Mantena who was supposed to produce the film with Allu Aravind has reportedly backed out from the project. The reasons for this are unknown.
Alia Bhatt was also considered for the role of Sita but had to step out because of date issues. Sai Pallavi was reportedly the second choice to play Sita. More information on how the project materialises is awaited.
