Bayern Munich have signed Germany midfielder Lena Oberdorf from Wolfsburg for a reported 450,000 euros (£384,000).
The Bundesliga leaders activated a release clause in the 22-year-old’s contract to make her the most expensive female German player.
Oberdorf will join Alexander Straus’ side at the end of the season.
“I will give everything for Wolfsburg until the summer and then look forward to the new challenge,” she said.
Oberdorf has made 98 appearances for Wolfsburg since joining from SGS Essen in 2020, winning one league title and three German Cups.
Defending champions Bayern are top of the table, one point ahead of Wolfsburg.
