At the start of 2021 Sajid Nadiadwala had started shooting for his next project Bachchan Pandey in Jaisalmer. The film which stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, had its first long schedule in Jaisalmer and the makers have now successfully wrapped up shooting for it’s first schedule amidst the pandemic.
Kriti Sanon took to her social media to share the news and the actress got pretty emotional about it. She shared a new still from the film, where we see Kriti and Akshay Kumar posing together. While Kriti looks gorgeous in her diva avatar, Akshay Kumar is seen in his dreaded gangster avatar. The actress captioned the picture saying that it’s a wrap on her schedule for Bachchan Pandey. She gets sentimental as she shares that it was a fun shoot amidst laughter, game nights and several lunches and dinners on the set. She even adds that it was one of the saddest goodbyes from the Suryagarh palace, where they were shooting for the film. Read her full post here.

This is the second film Kriti Sanon and Akshay Kumar team up for post Housefull 4. The actress plays the role of a journalist in the film who aspires to be an aspiring director. Bachchan Pandey is one film for which megastar Akshay Kumar dropped his price so that his producer and friend Sajid Nadiadwala made the film larger than life even amidst the critical situation.
