Vedang Raina won his first Filmfare Award last evening at the Danube Properties Filmfare OTT Awards 2024. He bagged the Best Debut Male (Film) Award for Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies where he shared the screen with Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Aditi Saigal, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja and Yuvraj Menda among others.
An overwhelmed Vedang took to his Instagram story section to share the special news with his fans and followers. Looking dapper in an all-black ensemble, the actor shared a couple of photos proudly holding the black lady.
He wrote, “Best Debut Male @filmfare
My first black lady. She’ll be in my room as a constant reminder to keep learning and growing as an artist and a human being, everyday. The universe has been kind. @zoieakhtar this is for you and Team Archies. I love you all. Alrighttt now did I really just win a Filmfare??!!!??”
He was congratulated by many people such as Sharvari, Janhvi Kapoor and director Collin D’cunha but the most special comment came from his lady love, Khushi Kapoor. She did not write much but left fire-shaped emojis to hype up Vedang.
The actor was most recently seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra where he shared the screen with Alia Bhatt.
