The actress said, “Who knows? For sure, I’d love to explore a Korean drama. Because the world is watching their series, their films, are so hugely popular. Everyone’s watching them.”
She then mentioned that Indian films are true to their culture and heritage. Kareena continued, “Our films are true to our culture and heritage. They are authentic. We love our song and dance, drama, action and our films are enjoyed in our languages. That’s also what sets us apart. We enjoy Korean and French cinema, but we still enjoy dancing to ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the Oscars stage.”
In 25 years of her career, Kareena has been a part of several iconic films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Chameli, Jab We Met, Kurbaan, Talaash: The Answer Lies Within, Udta Punjab and Omkara among others.
She was most recently seen in The Buckingham Murders and Crew. Kareena Kapoor Khan is now awaiting the release of her next film Singham Again, which will hit the theatres on November 1.
