Kangana Ranaut to make a sequel to Manikarnika on the life of Didda, Queen…

Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released in 2019 and was well received by the audience. With the film, Kangana also donned the hat of the director and ventured into filmmaking.

Converting the movie into a full franchise, Kangana has now announced that she will be making more films under the name of Manikarnika, exploring stories of unhung women who helped in building Bharat and its identity. A source close to the actor revealed that the next film will be based on the life of Didda, the queen of Kashmir who defeated Mehmood Ghaznavi twice despite being struck by polio in one leg.
