Kangana Ranaut’s highly anticipated film Emergency has received the green signal for the release. Now, the movie will hit the big screens on January 17, 2025. Ahead of the release, Ranaut held a special screening of the movie on January 11. The event was graced by esteemed Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Along with Nitin Gadkari, his family also marked their presence. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher also attended the screening, which took place in Nagpur.
Anupam Kher recently shared a clip on his official Instagram featuring his Emergency co-star Kangana Ranaut. In the video, the Queen actress is seen seeking blessings from Anupam Kher’s mother, Dulari, for their upcoming project.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “Kangana and Dulari: Two strong women of the mountains. A few days ago, Kangana suddenly decided she would like to take blessings from my mother! Mom didn’t get a chance to dress up. I teased them a lot for this! Dulari showered Kangana with a lot of love and blessings. My beauty was also mentioned during the conversation. My mother’s favourite dialogue: ‘Clothes do not matter when the heart is good.’”
He further added, “Dearest #KanganaRanaut for meeting Mom. She was so, so happy to meet you. You both are the biggest example of #WomenEmpowerment! I pray to God that our film #Emergency becomes a big success. Jai Ho!”
As for the leading lady of the film, Kangana Ranaut channelled her inner diva. She wore an outfit from the Mumbai-based designer clothing label Jigya Patel. Kangana opted for a purple silk saree featuring gold, pink, and maroon brocade embroidery with intricate detailing.
The actress chose a neatly tied bun with a centre parting. She added statement silver earrings and an embroidered pink potli bag to enhance the look.
