Kangana Ranaut is a whole package of relentless talent and there are no second thoughts about it. She is the only actress of the current lot ruling in Bollywood who has been honoured with the prestigious National Award four times, taking into consideration the latest that she won for Manikarnika and Panga. The actor has some solid impressive films lined up and they are sure going to go ahead and add another feather to her cap of success. As she is currently busy with her upcoming release – Thalaivi – she expresses deep gratitude for her director Vijay.
Thalaivi is Kanagana’s first venture into the South Indian Film Industry. It is her first trilingual film and is going to have a big release in three languages – Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi by Zee Studios on 23rd April 2021.
Recently, Kangana took some time to express how thankful and blessed she feels to have been supported and empowered by her director Vijay who welcomed her with open arms into a new industry. It usually is a blessing to have someone appreciate your craft and value it and Kangana felt the need to let her director know the respect she feels towards his generosity.
The talented actress was quoted saying, “Never in my life have I met a man who has not made me feel apologetic about my talent. I’m getting emotional, I’m not usually like that, but I want to say that he is one person, who has made me feel good about my talent. Usually, the camaraderie they show with a male hero is never shown with an actress. But as a Director, I learned from him how to treat actors and how to show creative partnership.”
Thalaivi explores the life trajectory of Jayalalithaa. The various aspects of both her political and cinematic journey have been explored through this film.
Thalaivi has some big banners supporting its release. It is presented by Vibri Motion pictures, Karma Media Entertainment, and Zee Studios in association with Gothic Entertainment and Sprint films. As for the producers on board for this mega project – there is Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh and there are two co-producers involved – Hitesh Thakkar and Thirumal Reddy.
