Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on their second wedding anniversary. The singer filed for a divorce without any legal representation on the same day the couple was meant to celebrate their anniversary.
Interestingly, Ben’s divorce has a connection to the actor’s divoce from Jennifer Garner in 2015, which was also announced a day prior to the then couple’s 10th wedding anniversary.
Ben and Garner, who continue to co-parent their children, have shared screen space in several films including Pearl Harbor and Daredevil.
JLo and Ben’s relationship has been undergoing several ups and downs in the past couple of months. According to a leading media portal, JLo has requested Ben to waive spousal support in filing for the divorce.
