Jay-Z Makes First Appearance With Beyoncé Amid Rape Lawsuit

Jay-Z recently made his first public appearance with Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy Carter amid rape allegations. If you’re unaware, the rapper has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl along with Sean “Diddy” Combs at a party in 2000.

Responding to the allegations, Jay-Z had shared a public statement. A part of it read, “My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.”

However, the Carter family also decided to make a public appearance at the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King where Beyoncé is reprising her part from the 2019 version of The Lion King as Nala, and her 12-year-old real-life daughter making her film debut voicing Nala’s offspring Kiara.

The mother-daughter duo, dressed in golden ensembles asked Jay-Z to join them for the photo sessions, who was cheering them on from the side rows. However, neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z opened up about the lawsuit during the premiere.
