Jawan is set to be released on September 7, and fans can’t wait to see Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara rule the theatres with their on-screen chemistry. Prior to that, the film was given a U/A certificate by the CBFC Central Board of Film Certification, indicating that it is a family-friendly watch that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
Jawan, directed by Atlee, is billed as a high-octane action entertainer starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sanya Malhotra. Deepika Padukone makes a cameo appearance in the film. In addition, this is Atlee’s directorial debut in Bollywood.
Recently, King Khan held a ‘AskSRK’ session on social media in response to a question from a social media user.“Hello @iamsrk sir, can you tell us any lessons or messages from #Jawan that you hope the audience will take away after watching the film? Looking forward to it! #AskSRK.” To this, SRK dubbed Jawan as a film that will be championing the themes of ‘women empowerment’, “The film has a strong take on women empowerment…how to respect and stand for them. #Jawan,” his reply read.
While fans await Jawan with bated breath, the film’s songs are already winning hearts. Jawan song Chaleya, in which SRK is seen romancing Nayanthara, was also recently released. Jawan will be released in theatres on September 7, 2018.
