At a recent press conference, Janhvi delivered a touching speech in Tamil, revealing her deep connection to Chennai. “I’m so happy to see you all here today. I have to say Chennai is very special for me. All of my best memories with my mother have been in Chennai,” she shared. Janhvi continued, “Whatever me and my family are today, is a result of the love that you the audience has showered on my mother. I hope I can earn the same love from you all. I will work very hard for it.”
Her fluency in Tamil impressed many, including her co-star Jr. NTR, who praised her language skills, saying he was “blown away.” With Devara generating buzz, it’s clear Janhvi Kapoor is set to shine bright on the big screen.
