Janhvi Kapoor is a youth icon for many and there’s no denying that. The talented actress is more than just beauty as she has time and again proved the acting chops she is blessed with. Quite recently a conversation took place where she commented on playing simple and middle-class characters on screen, however having a very glamorous side of her being seen on social media.
The actress went on to elaborate on how people have often shared with her that there is a certain disconnect between her onscreen and then social media personas. This might drive away the audience. Janhvi expressed that she tries her best to be as authentic as possible but her real-life personality is very different from the characters she plays on screen and that is precisely the point of being an actor.
On a lighter note, the actress quipped how she only has fun on social media and does not take it seriously. She jokingly remarked that at the end of the day some more handful of people might just like the picture which will make brands onboard her and that becomes a win-win situation.
