Today in an interview with a daily Janhvi Kapoor spoke about how she wants to work hard to win audience’s love. Janhvi is gearing up for the release of Roohi which releases next month. The young diva is doing rounds of interviews and promoting her upcoming film. In this interview she spoke about how she wants to work hard to win the audience’s heart, how she is okay with the scrutiny in this industry and she rightly says that no matter how much work she does, the audience is not obligated to love her back and hence she wants to give them the right reasons. Janhvi said, “You’re giving yourself to the people, asking for their love. But they’re not obligated to love you, you’ve to give them reasons to. There’s no self-pity or shame in that. I need to keep working to win everyone over. Sure, it’s seldom that people win over everyone but I have aspirations to reach that level.”
Janhvi Kapoor’s performance in the trailer of Roohi shows us the diva in a completely new avatar. Speaking about playing a girl possessed by a witch she commented, “Some scenes required me to push myself emotionally. My character Afza is a witch, so obviously you can’t be conscious of your vanity. The worst you look, the better it is for the character.”
Roohi also has Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma co-starring with her. The actress is currently shooting for Good Luck Jerry and then will move on to Dostana 2.
