Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor recently shared her frightening experience of being hospitalized due to severe food poisoning. Admitted to South Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital, Janhvi’s father, Boney Kapoor, confirmed she is “much better now.”
In an interview with Times Now, Janhvi revealed it was her first time being hospitalized, which left her feeling paralyzed and exhausted. She recounted, “I went to Chennai for half a day and ate something funky. Initially, we thought it was a stomach bug, but my blood tests were all over the place. I felt body ache, weakness, shivering, and shaking.”
Janhvi described her hospital stay as scary, with high liver enzymes alarming the doctors. “I wasn’t able to go to the restroom on my own. I wasn’t in any condition to speak, walk, or even eat,” she said. She admitted being concerned about looking fit for a song and meeting deadlines, which added to her stress.
Despite this setback, Janhvi is gearing up for her upcoming films Ulajh and Karna. Ulajh follows a young IFS officer entangled in a dangerous conspiracy, featuring stars like Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain. Janhvi will also appear in Karna, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Suriya.
