Jake Paul ‘ACCEPTS’ huge fight with heavyweight world champion and leaks his DMs with…

Jake Paul claims he will accept a fight with Daniel Dubois after the IBF heavyweight world champion reached out via Instagram to offer him a shot at the championship.

The YouTuber-turned-fighter has been receiving offers left, right and center since his victory over Mike Tyson at Texas’ AT&T Stadium on Friday evening.

Paul beat Tyson – who was the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990 – via unanimous decision following eight two-minute rounds.

The event – which was broadcast live on Netflix – was the subject of widespread criticism, largely based on the 31-year age gap between the two men.

However, Paul is said to have made $40million from fighting Tyson, while Iron Mike is said to have been paid around $20m for the bout in Arlington, Texas.

Therefore, the combination of the two has encouraged icons from the boxing world to reach out to Paul – either looking for a payday or to put the YouTuber ‘in his place’.

Dubois is the latest boxing icon to call out the 27-year-old, sending Paul an Instagram DM offering him a shot at the world heavyweight title.

Dubois wrote: ‘Hi Jake, good business on the weekend but how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world this is Daniel Dubois calling you out. Let’s get it on’.

Paul responded with a picture of a ticket dispenser with the word ‘get in line’ before sharing a screenshot of their interaction with the following caption: ‘Man been boxing for 12 years, has over 100 fights between amateur and pro and fought on my undercard…hahaha.

‘But f*** it…I’m going to have Nakisa talk to Frankie Warren and get you in line for the throne. Unlike Artur, at least you have a few thousand fans.’

Dubois retained his IBF world heavyweight title with a career-defining performance against Anthony Joshua on September 21 at Wembley Stadium.

The self-proclaimed ‘King Slayer’ floored Joshua four times and delivering a knockout in the fifth round in front of a crowd of 98,000 fans.

Fans were expecting AJ to rematch with Dubois on February 22, but Eddie Hearn has said Joshua may not be ready in time given the ‘fast turnaround’.

Therefore, Dubois and his promoter Frank Warren are looking at alternative options – with the likes of Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley being mentioned.

However, it appears Dubois has different ideas and would like to face the YouTuber-turned-boxer at some point in the future.

Dubois isn’t the only boxing icon to have called out Paul. The 27-year-old was also called approached by Beterbiev – who recently beat Dmitry Bivol to become the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO light-heavyweight world champion.

Writing on social media following Friday’s fight, the current king in that 175lbs division indicated he would be willing to put his belts on the line against the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

He wrote: ‘@jakepaul what can you do in the ring against the current undisputed champion? Just know that I’m always open to any suggestions.’

Former super-middleweight champion Carl Froch also took to social media to call out Paul – writing: ‘I will tie one arm behind my back and finish you for good’.

To which Paul responded: ‘F***ing sour loser. Shut the f*** up. I’ve done more in 4 years than you have in your life. First and last time I respond to your broke salty a**. Let me know if you want to wash my cars.’

Froch was less than impressed with Paul’s reply and snapped back: ‘Listen up Jakey boy… I’m 11 years retired, not done a round of boxing for over a decade, I’m old, grey, and out of shape. But, I’d still give your missus the best night of her life! I bet she dreams about a real man.

‘Let me know if you still want your cars washing, she can let me in through The Back Door. PS, I’d knock you out in 30seconds, you are USELESS.’

Froch won 33 of his 35 professional bouts and retired from boxing 2014 after back-to-back victories over fierce rival George Groves.

While he may not be keen on fighting Froch, Paul did admit he was interested in taking on current super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez prior to Dubois’ call out.

‘Canelo needs me, so I’m not even going to try and call him out,’ Paul said after beating Tyson. He knows he wants a payday. So, he knows where the money man is at…

‘He’s going to want a payday and I want to show the world all the [stuff] I’ve been talking about beating Canelo is true and I’ll have the biggest upset in the history of boxing.

‘We’ll fight to really see who is the face [of boxing] because, after this event, I’m going to be claiming it.’
