Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is performing well at the box office. The movie, released on December 5, 2024 has already crossed more than Rs 1000 crores worldwide. There were rumours doing rounds on social media about the film’s OTT release. The makers have dropped a statement regarding the same, clearing out the air around its OTT run.
According to the makers, Pushpa 2: The Rule won’t be on OTT before 56 days of release. The tweet reads, “There are rumours floating around about the OTT release of #Pushpa2TheRule. Enjoy the Biggest Film #Pushpa2 only on the Big Screens in this Biggest Holiday Season (red heart emoji). It won’t be on any OTT before 56 days! It’s #WildFirePushpa only in Theatres Worldwide (fire emoji).”
Fans gave mixed reactions to the post. While some wanted an early OTT release, others are satisfied with the makers’ decision to keep it in the theatres for two months. Apart from its Telugu release, it also released in dubbed versions with Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.
