Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone is one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year. The film’s action and stunt director, Parvez Shaikh, recently revealed that director Siddharth Anand intends to make Fighter “bigger” than Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
In an interview with a leading news portal, Parvez disclosed that the filmmakers used “fire, blast, chopper, helicopter, and fighter planes” to shoot the action sequences for the film Fighter.
He said that Siddharth Anand wants the action of Fighter to be a notch higher than the action of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. The team of Fighter reportedly shot for action sequences in a massive set at the SRPF Grounds in Jogeshwari, Mumbai.
He said, “Siddharth sir’s thoughts are on another level after Bang Bang and War. Siddharth sir has thought to make Fighter on a bigger level than Pathaan.” The stunt director mentioned that they provided complete support to him and the action scenes in the movie will be exceptional. He further added that the audience will witness not only land-based action sequences but also airborne action which is a novel attempt to showcase something unique.
Fighter is touted as India’s first-ever aerial action movie. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover. It is slated to hit the cinemas on January 25, 2024.
