The first Honor flagship phone in the country after many years

Honor Magic 6 Pro is the latest flagship device in the country and the first from the brand in India after a long laul.

Honor has recently unveiled the HONOR Magic6 Pro 5G, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Indian market. The handset has an IP68-rated build for dust and water resistance. The tech giant states that the Magic 6 Pro 5G is the first smartphone to receive five DXOMARK Gold labels for its unmatched rear and selfie cameras, display, battery life, and audio mastery.

Honor Magic 6 Pro 5G Price in India

The HONOR Magic6 Pro is priced at Rs 89,999 for the single 12GB + 512GB model. The new smartphone is made available in two colourways, Black and Epi Green shades. Interested buyers should note that the handset will go on sale on August 15 starting 12:00 AM across Amazon, Explorehonor.com, and offline stores.

Honor Magic 6 Pro 5G Specifications

Honor Magic 6 Pro 5G is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The dual SIM (Nano) handset runs on the company’s Magic UI 8.0 interface based on Android 14. It features a quad-curved floating screen, 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,280×2,800 pixels) with an adaptive dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and a 93.20 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The display is touted to deliver a peak HDR brightness of 5,000 nits, PWM dimming frequency of 4320 Hz, and Dolby Vision. The handset also has a nanocrystal glass shield, which is 10 times more drop-resistant against accidental drops.

Talking about the camera, the new smartphone features a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 2.5x periscope telephoto camera with OIS support and 100x digital zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus, and a 50MP H9000 HDR camera with a variable aperture of f/1.4 to f/2.0. On the front, it boasts a 50MP camera with a wide-angle lens and 3D depth sensing.

The Honor Magic 6 Pro houses a 5,600 mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging. The company claims that the fast charging features help users charge the device from zero to 100 percent in just 40 minutes. Other connectivity options on the Honor Magic 6 Pro 5G include 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, OTG, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port.
