However, what many might not know is that Rakul Preet Singh was initially approached for a role in the movie but had to decline. In a recent interview, Rakul discussed the challenges of balancing her work in both Hindi and South Indian cinema.
She shared that managing both industries was initially tough for her. Rakul highlighted a four-year gap before her first Hindi film, De De Pyaar De. She explained that date issues led her to decline roles in movies like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and several other Hindi films. Rakul had signed the Dhoni biopic and completed fittings, but the film got delayed by 20 days. During that period, one of her South Indian films was set to release, and she was simultaneously working on projects with Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
In the interview, Rakul Preet Singh also opened up about her relationship with Jackky Bhagnani. The couple, known for openly expressing their love, is rumoured to be planning a private wedding ceremony in Goa in February 2024. Reports suggest they celebrated their bachelor party in Bangkok during the New Year’s Eve festivities.
