In 2021, KL Rahul made their relationship Instagram official by posting a lovey-dovey photo and birthday wishes for Athiya. Despite their openness online, they kept details about their relationship and any potential wedding plans private. Athiya’s father, Suniel Shetty, respected their privacy by refraining from discussing their future plans.
Their love became more evident as Athiya started joining KL Rahul on the Indian cricket team’s overseas tours. The couple also ventured into the world of endorsements together, marking another milestone in their relationship. KL Rahul further demonstrated his closeness to the Shetty family by attending the screening of Ahan Shetty’s film, Tadap, alongside Athiya.
