Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi was indeed a milestone film in Alia Bhatt’s career. Ever since its release the actress has been repeatedly hailed for her electrifying performance.
Recently, Robin Baker – the Head Curator at the British Film Institute gave a shout out to the young actress for her amazing performance in the film. He went on to add how he would have voted for her for Best Actress had he been a member at the BAFTA.
As the movie is about to complete a year this month, it is indeed a special compliment coming Alia Bhatt’s way for the movie holds a special place in her heart too.
