On Friday, Karan Johar revealed the release date of his upcoming production Kill. He announced on his social media that the movie is set to hit theatres on July 5, 2024. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film features Lakshya Lalwani in the starring role.
The poster, which has also been unveiled, depicts the protagonist with facial wounds and a knife at his neck, portraying a menacing and intense demeanour.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Karan Johar wrote, “Blood. Blood. And blood! We are unleashing this beast of a film to you – #Kill in theatres on 5th July 2024 in India.”
It is important to note that the movie made its debut at the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival last year. Kill was selected as one of ten films to be showcased at the esteemed festival. The filmmaker confirmed this news in an Instagram post and also unveiled the first glimpse of the action film.
“The journey begins at the Toronto International Film Festival! ‘KILL’ – an action-packed high-octane film starring Lakshya – the next action hero to look out for. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film will premiere at Midnight Madness at TIFF 2023. Stay tuned, the official poster and teaser will be announced soon!!!” Karan had written in the caption.
The movie’s lineup also features Tanya Maniktala and Raghav Juyal. The film is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. Lakshya Lalwani also shared the announcement on his Instagram account.
