Aerospace service provider, JBI Aerospace and Germany-based VIK-Composite GmbH which makes equipment and auxiliary materials for composite manufacturing have entered into a partnership to set up a facility in India catering to aerospace, space, wind energy and defence applications. “The state-of-the-art facility in India is aimed at reducing costs, shortening lead times, and addressing specific customer needs,” JBI said in a statement on Wednesday. The collaboration will focus on manufacturing, material processing, and market strategies to advance composite industry in the Indian market. The joint partnership will also support the local composite industry and enhance indigenous manufacturing capabilities through innovation and collaboration, it said.
Founder of JBI Aerospace, Jayanthi Bhagatha said VIK-COMPOSITE is committed to delivering tailored solutions that address complex challenges. “Their emphasis on innovation, quality, and customer-centric solutions makes them an ideal partner. This collaboration will leverage joint efforts in manufacturing, material processing, and market strategies to advance the industry,” she added.
