“Frankly, I Would Like To Do Something On OTT That I Haven’t Attempted…

It’s a big year for Kriti Sanon, the movies that lined up for her are super-interesting, mega budget and also look like assured entertainers. No wonder the actress has all the reasons to smile, the actress got talking to Times Of India today in an exclusive interview and shared her thoughts about movies, her growing up years and her COVID-19 recovery.

The actress was tested COVID-19 positive in December 2020 when she was shooting for her next film with Rajkummar Rao. Talking about her recovery and how she got her immunity back the actress said, “One of the doctors told me that apart from the COVID, it’s the fear about the ailment that needs to be dealt with; all said and done, we need to stay positive and shouldn’t get scared. As for me, I didn’t have any symptoms. But I thoroughly followed whatever medical advice I was given- I had all the vitamins I was prescribed and I had a lot of haldi paani and ginger water, and yes, I also took a lot of steam.”

Speaking about how the medium of entertainment has changed its focus from the big screen to OTT, the actress feels that the magic cannot be replicated but audiences are surely enjoying this new change. “OTT has its audience no doubt and even I do watch and enjoy it; it has its own sides. Like you can make what you want without thinking about the box-office numbers. But on the other hand, you don’t get the numbers to precisely judge it after it has gone online. Frankly, I would like to do something on OTT that I haven’t attempted before, say an edgy character,” said the actress to TOI and we would love to see Kriti play an edgy character soon.

We used to have dance competitions amongst friends, we used to dance at birthday parties. Dancing is always fun.”
