Formula One Legend Michael Schumacher, who reportedly made his first public appearance at his daughter’s wedding a month ago, has been speculated to have lost the ability to communicate verbally following the life-threatening accident he met while skiing in the Alps back in the year 2013.
It has also been speculated that the seven-time F1 champion now communicates with his eyes, instead of words.
The speculations seem to piece in with what his son and F1 driver Mick Schumacher revealed on the Netflix documentary about the legendary racer’s life.
“I think dad and me, we would understand each other now in a different way now,” Mick said.
Michael’s daughter, Gina married Iain Bethke at the Schumacher family’s property in Mallorca. A number of guests who were invited to the private event suggested that Michael was at the occasion to bless the couple.
Schumacher has been sustained by his family at their home in Switzerland by his wife and kids following the horrendous accident over a decade ago.
Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt also shed some light on his former colleague and friend’s health status recently stating, “Michael is here, so I don’t miss him. But he is simply not the Michael he used to be.”
“He is different and is wonderfully guided by his wife and children who protect him,” Todt added.

“His life is different now and I have the privilege of sharing moments with him. That’s all there is to say. Unfortunately, fate struck him ten years ago. He is no longer the Michael we knew in Formula One.”
Felix Damm, Schumacher’s family lawyer later revealed that the family had decided not to make the driver’s health status public due to privacy reasons.
