Leicester City are signing Stephy Mavididi from Montpellier for £6.9million after he underwent a medical on Saturday.
Mavididi, 25, left Arsenal for Juventus before joining Montpellier where he scored 21 goals in 89 games.
The forward will be hoping to help the Foxes make an immediate return to the Premier League after their relegation last time out.
Beginning his career in Arsenal’s academy, Mavididi was highly rated coming through the ranks before earning a move to Turin.
However, he was unable to break into the first team squad at Juventus and only made one Serie A appearance before moving to Dijon on loan before securing a permanent move to Montpellier in 2020.

Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca is making his mark by bringing in a new forward
His debut season at Montpellier saw his highest goals return as he netted nine times in 35 Ligue 1 appearances.
Last season the Englishman scored just four times in 26 matches, but has earned himself a move to Leicester City in the Championship.
Furthermore, Leicester are in talks to sign midfielder Arjan Raikhy following his release from Aston Villa at the end of last season.
The 20-year-old made his senior debut for the Villains in January 2021 but was released at the end of the season.
During his time at Villa Park, Raikhy departed on loan to Stockport County and Grimsby Town.
His next move could see him sign for the Foxes in the Championship ahead of the new season.
