OTT is gradually becoming the trick of the trade. It comes without the extravagance of a movie theatre but content is the king in the digital space. Evolving with this shift, several movie stars are making digital debuts and the latest to join the bandwagon is Sonakshi Sinha.
Announcing her first digital show, Sonakshi shared a picture from the project. Dressed as a cop, she captioned the picture, “There’s no limit to what women can accomplish. Our collective belief in this has only been reinforced time and again. And on the eve of #WomensDay, we’re taking things up a notch! Can’t wait to show everyone yet again how girls get it done!”
The show is produced by Zoya Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani and also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Verma and Sohum Shah in pivotal characters. It is written by Reema Kagta who expressed her admiration for Sonakshi and said, “Sonakshi is an actor with the ability to seamlessly fit into every character she plays. She plays a tough cop in the series, and it is a delight to see her sink her teeth into the skin of the character. I’m excited to collaborate with Amazon Prime Video once again and truly looking forward to bringing this show to audiences across the world.”
