Brighton have signed Turkey full-back Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce for £25m.
The 24-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Fabian Hurzeler’s side and becomes their eighth signing of the summer.
“I’m very excited because we are getting an excellent player and a great character,” the head coach said.
“He has great ability, is a strong runner and very good at passing.”
The Netherlands-born defender started his career with Eredivisie side NEC Nijmegen before joining Fenerbahce in 2018.
He has played more than 200 games for Fenerbahce, scoring 18 goals, and has been capped 20 times by his country, playing every minute as Turkey reached the Euro 2024 quarter-finals in Germany in July.
