Farah Khan recalls a special conversation she had with Shah Rukh Khan

Farah Khan recalled the time she got a call from Shah Rukh Khan to choreograph songs for Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. She revealed that she had become good friends with Shah Rukh at the time after working with him on films like Kundan Shah’s Kabhi Ha Kabhi Naa.

The director further recalled that the team of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge had gone to shoot in Switzerland. However, Saroj Khan got late in reaching the sets. Thus, they reached out to her for a couple of songs. She narrated how she got a call at her neighbour’s home, as they didn’t have a phone back then. While both Aditya Chopra and SRK were on the line, the actor urged her to come to Switzerland for two to three songs, assuring her that everything (travel) will be organized by Yash Raj Films.
