Director SS Rajamouli is known fondly and widely for the epic period drama series Baahubali which went on to be one of the biggest and most successful films to come out of our country. Speaking about the Baahubali series, Rajamouli has often said that the film was inspired by the historical Indian epics like Mahabharata and Ramayan. His direction in the Baahubali series has proved him to be a hit amongst the masses when it come stop period dramas.
And now, after the hugely popular Ramayan was re-telecast on TV during the lockdown, netizens have made up their minds that they would love to see the epic being recreated for the big screen by Rajamouli. The re-run ended recently and fans took to social media asking Rajamouli to make a film on Ramayan, with his directorial vision.
