With four world titles, 63 Grand Prix wins and 112 podiums, Max Verstappen’s F1 career has been nothing short of exceptional so far.
It is Max Verstappen’s world, and we are simply living in it. The Red Bull Racing driver has dominated the F1 circuit for the past half-a-decade now, clinching four world titles consecutively.
Having entered the sport in 2015 as a 17-year-old as F1’s youngest-ever competitor, the Dutchman has gone on to cement his status as a generational talent who has already earned a place among the pantheon of greats at just 27 years of age.
But, what is an even more staggering statistic about the Dutchman is the fact that Verstappen has not finished outside of the points for over 9 years running now.
Knowing the sheer dominance of the Red Bull driver currently, one can even expect the defending world champion to extend the streak for a while longer.
Verstappen became just the sixth man in Formula One history to win four world championship titles at the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year.
The Dutchman joined the company of multiple champions Juan Manuel Fangio (five titles), Alain Prost (four), Michael Schumacher (seven), Sebastian Vettel (four) and Lewis Hamilton (seven), to etch his name in history.
After an expected blistering start to the season which saw him win seven of the first 10 races taking a mammoth lead over everyone in the standings, Verstappen suffered an unforeseen dip in performance as the Red Bull ace struggled to find any wins, with many calling his aggressive racing style into question.
A return to form in Brazil though ensured that Verstappen would inevitably get the job done in Las Vegas and take home his fourth title in consecutive years.
There won’t be any lack of competition for Verstappen next year though, as Ferrari’s newest member and Verstappen’s rival Lewis Hamilton will suit up in red, with his eyes set on clinching an eighth world title.
With the rise of Constructor’s Champions McLaren, and the coming-of-age of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, Red Bull can expect yet another contested season in 2025.
The upcoming 2025 F1 season will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix from March 14-16 and is set to conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the weekend of December 5-7.
