Everything about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s investment in Digit


Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma apart from being leaders in their respective fields are also extremely capable when it comes to running a business. The two have their own fashion brands – Wrogn and Nush which cater to different types of customers.

Earlier this year, the power couple made another investment as they bought a stake worth Rs 2.2 crore in an insurance startup by the name of Digit. Digit is a new-age general insurance company, which was started by Kamlesh Goyal and has its base in Pune. The company has a backing of Canada-based Fairfax Group, which is owned by Indo-Canadian Prem Watsa and has its headquarters in Toronto. The company already had two rounds of funding in the past and has managed to raise Rs. 990 crore from them. According to a report in Economic times, Kohli has a larger share of this investment with Rs 1.73 crore, while Anushka Sharma’s share amounts to Rs 43 lakhs.

The investment gives them 0.25 % stake in the company.
