ETimes doesn’t subscribe to such hate, especially when Shweta is trying to make a mark of her own. Take a look at some of the jibes Shweta faced and our response to the same.
“She’s so brave for this. I wouldn’t have survived on 3000rs while living in my parents’ 300cr bungalow”
If only you had paid some attention to what she said. Shweta revealed that she earned Rs 3000 every month while she was staying in Delhi, post her marriage. Despite coming from an affluent family and being married in an equally prosperous one, she decided to stand on her own without any influence, and she deserves some respect. Besides, Shweta never mentioned surviving off that meager salary alone.
“Amitabh Bachchan had stashed all his crores in Swiss banks to avoid Indian tax and Shweta Bachchan had to step in to support the family. Very inspiring story. I cried.”
Accusing a stalwart like Amitabh Bachchan of stashing money illegally is not just disrespectful but also fictitious. You need to be a special kind of mean, to allege that the Bachchans are avoiding tax. On top of that your sarcastic comment aimed at Shweta is unnecessary. She has just made a simple confession about how poor she is when it comes to managing her finances.
“Being Amitabh B’s daughter in this country and yet she was earning 3000/month, goes to show her capability!”
Being Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter is her privilege and not a choice that she was given to flaunt. Besides, who are you to troll her capabilities? For all you know, she could be starting out and accepted the pay that she was given, instead of using her celebrity status to rake in more money. Instead of nitpicking for her pay, grow up and shake yourself out of these judgments.
