South superstar Dhanush rarely does a Hindi film, but when he picks one he makes sure that the film is something interesting enough for him. While his association with Aanand L Rai has been long ever since they teamed up for Raanjhanaa in 2013, the two team up again for Atrangi Re.
Today Dhanush took to his Instagram and shared a picture with the director Mr Rai and writer Himanshu Kohli. Dhanush captioned this click saying, “Atrangire wrapped. Thank you @aanandlrai and himanshu. Love you both.” Now looks like the actor is in love with his next character and can’t wait for the audience to witness this saga unfold.
This is the actor’s third Hindi feature film after Raanjhanaa (2013) and Shamitabh (2015), Atrangi Re also stars Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar in a pivotal role. All three actors work together with each other for the first time and it’s surely going to be refreshing for the audiences to witness. Dhanush was shooting for the film last year before the lockdown and even after the lockdown rules were eased out. The actor has shot for the film in Agra and even in Delhi and finally brings the film to completion. It has been a task indeed for the makers to shoot for this film amidst the pandemic and Aanand L Rai’s films are known for its exterior shots and showing us various cities the way it is.
Dhanush is also gearing up to join Russo Brother’s next for Netflix. The director duo who are known for their Avengers franchise will be making their next with Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in lead and our superstar Dhanush has an important role to play. The actor currently bagged the National Award for Best Actor for his role in Asuran. The actor’s roles and characters always leaves everyone amazed.
