The country woke up to the sad news of actor Irrfan Khan passing away this morning. In an official statement released just minutes ago, it was declared that the last rites were done in the presence of Irrfan’s close family members and friends.
The statement read, “Irrfan was buried at the Versova kabrastan in Mumbai at 3pm this afternoon soon after the news of his passing away was announced. In presence were his family, close relatives and friends. Everyone paid their final respects and mourned the loss of his passing away. We pray for his peace and we hope he’s in a better place today. He was strong in his fight, and we all have to be strong too in this loss.”
Strict security has been maintained during the entire ceremony and it was made sure that not everyone was allowed inside, people took turns to witness the last rites of the actor.
Rest in peace, Irrfan. You will be missed…
