A Delhi High Court panel led by Justice C. Hari Shankar mandated measures by YouTube, Google, Twitter, and Reddit to stop the spread of Jawan’s protected work. A handful of internet service providers were also instructed to forbid users from accessing websites that offered the movie’s material for viewing or downloading.
The petitioner claims that two video excerpts from the Atlee film were posted on social media. One clip sees Shah Rukh Khan in a fight sequence while another features a dance number.
Additionally, the lawsuit contended that the defendants were responsible for specific photos from the sets of Jawan that were leaked. Jawan was filmed in a studio behind closed doors.
Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan’s first joint project, Jawan also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Deepika Padukone will reportedly make a special appearance as well. The release date for Jawan is set for June 2.
