Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated Marvel movies. The upcoming film will mark Ryan Reynolds’ comeback as the “merc with a mouth” and will see Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine. According to a more recent update, Jennifer Garner will also join the cast.
As per reports on a leading news portal, Jennifer Garner’s Elektra will re-enter the superhero universe with Deadpool 3. The actress played the role of the assassin in the 2003 film Daredevil which saw her ex-husband Ben Affleck play the titular role. She reprised the role in a 2005 spin-off movie.
Jennifer Garner shared screen space with Ryan Reynolds in The Adam Project. She played Adam’s mother in the film in which a grown-up Adam was played by Reynolds. The sci-fi film was directed by Shawn Levy who is directing Deadpool 3.
Details about Jennifer Garner’s Elektra have not been confirmed by the studio. Chances are that her character will have a different look and role.
Deadpool 3 is set to release on May 3, 2024.
