Linkin Park is re-debuting with a new vocalist, Emily Armstrong, seven years after their lead vocalist Chester Bennington’s death. The new lineup recently dropped their new single The Emptiness Machine. They have also announced a new album, From Zero, which is slated to release on November 15, 2024. In a statement, Mike Shinoda addressed the new developments. He said, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking.” However, the band’s longtime drummer Rob Bourdon isn’t returning with the new lineup.

Mike further added, “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created. We feel really empowered with this new line-up and the vibrant and energized new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touchpoints we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones.”
